Followers of our blog better get used to lots of posts about little Josh! The past week and a half have flown by! I can't believe Josh will be turning two weeks old this Wednesday. We're already noticing differences in the little guy. He likes to stay awake for an hour or two and watch everything that is going on. He also loves to lift his head, roll around and I have a feeling he will be walking/running before he crawls. Needless to say, this little guy is going to keep me plenty busy! Below are just a few pictures from the past couple weeks.

Happy Father's Day Tyler!
I have always wanted to celebrate Father's Day with Tyler, it has been hard over the years when Fathers Day or Mothers Day rolled around and we still had no little ones. Today has been a dream come true! I already know that Tyler is going to be an amazing father and to finally see him in the role is amazing. Josh loves his Daddy so much and I know the two of them are going to keep me very busy. Happy Father's Day Ty! We look forward to celebrating many more!

Joshua is here!
Many of you know that Tyler and I have been wanting to start our family for a very long time. About three weeks ago we were contacted by a wonderful birthmom with the news that she had chosed us to be the parents of her presious baby. The past three weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind, very exciting and finally today at 7:29 AM our little Joshua came into the world He weighed 6lbs 11 oz and was just under 19 inches. Josh stole our hearts right away and we're so looking forward to having him in our family. It was a long journey to get here, filled with lots of ups and downs, but in the end it was all worth it to have Josh in our lives.

Balboa Park
Saturday Tyler and I went to Balboa Park, not sure what we were thinking going on one of the busiest days, but it was a lot of fun. This time around we saw a few things we hadn't before, like the Japanese Gardens. I guess since we're moving to Japan we wanted to see what we had to look forward to. It really was super pretty! We also went through a few museums. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Memorial Day Weekend...Part 3
Day three we made it to San Francisco and of course Alcatraz! We didn't have a whole lot of time, we still had a very long drive home, but we had a great time. It was really a fantastic weekend, very memoriable!

Memorial Day Weekend...Part 2
We spent the second day up in Sacramento. We'd passed through there last year and were able to spend a little more time this time around. We walked through old town and around the capitol.
Memorial Day Weekend...Part 1
Ty and I went on another fun road trip over Memorial weekend. I've always wanted to visit Alcatraz and thought this would be the perfect time to go up to San Francisco and Sacramento. The first day we just spent driving up ands top at a couple missions along the way. Below are some pictures from the San Fernando and San Gabriel Missions.
