Saturday Tyler and I went to Balboa Park, not sure what we were thinking going on one of the busiest days, but it was a lot of fun. This time around we saw a few things we hadn't before, like the Japanese Gardens. I guess since we're moving to Japan we wanted to see what we had to look forward to. It really was super pretty! We also went through a few museums. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Memorial Day Weekend...Part 3
Day three we made it to San Francisco and of course Alcatraz! We didn't have a whole lot of time, we still had a very long drive home, but we had a great time. It was really a fantastic weekend, very memoriable!

Memorial Day Weekend...Part 2
We spent the second day up in Sacramento. We'd passed through there last year and were able to spend a little more time this time around. We walked through old town and around the capitol.
Memorial Day Weekend...Part 1
Ty and I went on another fun road trip over Memorial weekend. I've always wanted to visit Alcatraz and thought this would be the perfect time to go up to San Francisco and Sacramento. The first day we just spent driving up ands top at a couple missions along the way. Below are some pictures from the San Fernando and San Gabriel Missions.

Happy Birthday to ME...Disneyland 2010
For my birthday this year Tyler brought me to my favorite place...Disneyland! I don't know what it is, but I just love spending a day at Disneyland. The rides are fun, the food is great, and the whole atmosphere is enchanting. It was pretty busy the day we went, but we were still able to go on all our favorite rides and Tyler made reservations so we could eat at our favorite restuarant, the Blue Bayou. It was a wonderful day and I'm so grateful for Tyler and the wonderful birthday he planned.
Knotts Berry Farm
A couple weeks ago Tyler and I finally made it up to Knotts Berry Farm. It has been on our "to see" list every since we arrived in San Diego. To be honest, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but still a lot of fun. We spent the whole day there and had a blast. Here are just a handful of pictures from our trip.

Joshua Tree National Park
Yesterday we spent the day at Joshua Tree National Park. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being really nice. The weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing. It was definitely worth the almost three hour drive to get there. Below are just a few pictures from the park. Enjoy. Oh, and Happy Easter!
