Breaking Dawn Theories

If you’re like me you have started counting down the days until the last installment of the Twilight series is released. I have talked with friends and surfed the net for interesting theories about what will happen in Breaking Dawn. Here are a few of my favorites, if you have your own theories I would love to hear them.

This just in...a revealing interview given by Stephenie Meyer...http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20215228,00.html

~ Breaking Dawn is loosely based on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Peter Pan”.

~Tanya and her clan come down for the wedding. Jacob also secretly plans to attend, when he sees Tanya he imprints on her, causing the Vampire and Werewolf worlds to come together in a way no one expected. Sam: "This is not something our treaty anticipated. This is a danger to every human in the area."

~The following quote was tied to Breaking Dawn. “Childhood is not from birth to a certain age and at a certain age the child is grown, and puts away childish things. Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies.” Edna Vincent Millay. At the end of Peter Pan, Peter goes back to visit Wendy, and she has children and is old but Peter never fell out of love with her. Although they loved each other Peter let Wendy go. SM could have changed it to the “what if Peter and Wendy had stayed together...”

~If anyone has read a Midsummer Night’s Dream, the characters are easy to match and we know that this play shows that the course of true love never did run smooth. Bella is HermiaEdward is LysanderJacob is DemetriusAnd lovely Helena…T.B.D of course, but according to everyone…Tanya possibly. In the story Hermia’s father approves of Demetrius, and Lysander is frowned upon, but it is who Hermia is unconditionally in love with. Hermia and Lysander run away together and Demetrius pursues them. Helena also follows because she is in love with Demetrius. After all the fairies interfere we are left with a love complex, Demetrius forgets about Hermia…as does Lysander and they both turn their affection towards Helena. Helena is absolutely beside herself with Demetrius but doesn’t understand Lysander and Hermia is left heartbroken. More faerie magic ensues and the world rights itself, and Lysander and Hermia are together and Helena and Demetrius are together, so in the morning the fair lovers are “fortunately met.” This is a direct quote from MSND and it’s from Demetrius…”I wot not by what power, but by some power it is, my love to Hermia melted as the snow, and all the faith, the virtue of my heart, and the object and the pleasure of mine eye is only Helena.” To me that sounds just like imprinting on Jacob’s part and Bella and Edward end up together in the end.

~ Alice has been nice to Bella from the beginning? Does anyone believe that she could be too nice? I think that Alice and Jasper have plans to get rid of Edward and Bella. They are the only people in the whole series not only close enough to Edward and Bella but they also have the power. They are the most likely candidates. Bella constantly says in the series that she LOVES Alice like a sister. I bet Bella would be stunned to know that her favorite 'sister' was plotting against her the entire time. Please also notice that everyone trusts Alice with everything. She's always there to help and not one of the Cullens would suspect her. Jasper could be giving Edward the false sense of security that his siblings are harmless. This fits in so well with the preface and even the cover. Alice is the queen (white for vampire). And poor Bella is the pawn (red for blood). Bella (the pawn) is being played by Alice (the queen with all the power).

~Bella will become a powerful vampire and kills Jacob. Or Jacob kills her out of instinct.

~The Book Cover: The red chess piece (pawn) represents sacrifice, being taken out of the game. The red stands for blood, passion and fire. Blood=Edward, Fire=Jacob, and Passion=both. The white (Queen) which represents Bella. The white stands for purity, virginity and innocence. The Queen can do what she wants to the pawn and has to sacrifice one of them.

~Billy has a heart attack, causing Bella to postpone the wedding throwing her and Jacob together again. Jacob continues to try and talk Edward into having Bella stay human. The Volturi arrive and are upset Bella hasn’t been changed. And a war breaks out.

"As August 13th draws closer, Bella is more sure than ever that she has made the right choice - forsaking her human life to spend eternity with Edward. But a new enemy stalks closer, seeking to tear Bella and Edward apart forever, one with ties to both Vampire and Werewolf. Can the treaty between the two hold? Or will the new threat force both sides to settle their blood feud once and for all? Because when the dawn breaks an angel will fall."

Fun Friday

Friday was great. We had our good friends Mike and Jill come for a visit. We’ve known Mike & Jill since our good old days at GE, so for about 7 years now. Although we’ve moved around a lot we’ve always tried to stay in touch. They had their three great kids with, and it was so fun getting to know them. First, the kids had to play with Charlie, so we spent a little time at our house. Charlie loved playing with the kids and showing off some of his cool tricks. We then decided to go to Old Towne to see the cute shops and have a yummy Mexican dinner.
Mike, Jill, Lorin, Christian and Kathryn

Kathy and JillThis was taken of us but Lorin (she did pretty good for only being 5)
Thanks again for the visit, we had a blast!

Family Day

Tyler was able to have a lot of time off on Thursday, Charlie and I love it when he is able to spend some extra time with us. It had been about 7-8 weeks since Charlie's last grooming so we finally broke down and brought him in. He acted okay until we actually walked into the grooming office, then he put his little tail between his legs and begged me to hold him. I felt so bad for the little guy. Last time it took them about 4 1/2 hours, luckily this time it was only 2 1/2 hours, so I think it was a little easier on him. He looks so cute when he is all cleaned up. While he was at his grooming appointment Tyler and I decided to do some sight-seeing in our little city of Poway. First, we went to breakfast at this great diner called Le Peep, so good. Then we went to Old Poway Park and walked around. It's pretty small, but very pretty.

After we picked our cleaned up Charlie, we decided to take him for a walk at Mission Bay and the Beach. Charlie LOVES going for walks, if we say the word "walk" now he gets so excited. Above is a picture of Charlie and Ty taking a cute nap after our long walk.

Favorite Memory...

I saw this my friend Miranda's blog and thought it was a cute idea. I'm curious to see what memories my friends have of us.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I (or both of us) have had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Charlie Says...

I saw this on my friend Miranda's blog and thought it was so cute. I'm probably breaking the rules on this one but since I don't have any kids so I thought I would see what Charlie had to say. He is sitting on my lap as we type, and these are his answers.

What does mommy always say to you? "I love my Charlie-Bear".

What makes mommy happy? When I go to the potty in my litter box.

What makes mommy sad? When I don't use (miss) the litter box.

How does mommy make you laugh? By finding my tickle spot (my belly, or to blow on my ears).

What was mommy like when she was little? Probably the same.

How old is mommy? In dog years she would be about 125.

How tall is mommy? VERY TALL, even if I stand up I still only come to her knees.

What does mommy like to do? Play with me or teach me new tricks.

What is something mommy doesn't like to do? Clean up after me on our walks.

What does mommy do for a job? Take care of me (Tyler: "that's a good question").

What is mom's favorite food? Her Sunday Turkey, if I'm good she'll give me some.

What do mommy and Charlie like to do together? Watch movies together, and learn new tricks (we're working on rolling over today.

How do you know mom loves you? She plays with me, takes care of me, and gives me lots of hugs.

Finally

I finally found a site (www.thecutestblogontheblock.com) that provides an easy way to change your blog background. I should say my friend Jessica told me about the site. It has super cute background and add on's. I recommend it to anyone. Loads of fun.

Congratulations...

Congrats DeAnna and Jesse. This season of The Bachelorette has been very interesting. I thought she would have cut Jesse on the first night, and was pretty much surprise each time he kept getting a rose. Don't get me wrong, I think Jesse is a nice guy, I just didn't see them together. It was fun seeing how cute and in love they were last night and it would have been nice if they had shown more of that during the show. I'm glad she finally found someone and we will hopefully never have to hear about Brad again. Was it just me or did she talk about Brad and "getting hurt" every single episode? I guess it was her first time being dumped and she just couldn't believe that someone wouldn't chose her. I was pretty sick of hearing about it though, so hopefully now that she has Jesse she can finally move on.
I'd also like to wish another Congrats to my friend Jenn Rose who recently got engaged and is getting married this September! I wish her and her new fiance a life time of happiness. Marriage is the best! I love my husband so much and am so grateful to have him in my life. Whenever I see new couples I always think back to the beginning of our story and it always brings a smile to my face. I love Tyler with all my heart and marrying him was the best decision I ever made.

Happy 4th of July

Every year we end up somewhere awesome for the 4th of July, and this year is no different. The whole Hart Clan always meets up in Newport Beach, CA to celebrate. Tyler had a somewhat light load this week and was able to take some time off to go visit with family. We had a blast seeing everyone and enjoying the beautiful beach. Our first day there we were out for about 6 hours and I made the mistake of not putting on enough sunscreen. I was horribly burned and am still a little sore today. It was all worth it though to spend time with everyone. Below is just a fun list of all the places we have spent the holiday since we've been together.

2003 Washington DC
2004 Norway (we had our own celebration)
2005 Nauvoo, IL
2006 Utah
2007 Maine
2008 California
