Busy, Busy, Busy

It has been almost two weeks since my parents left. The time has flown by, but it also feels like forever since they were here. I definetely miss all their help. At times it can be a bit overwhelming, especially on the days when Ty is gone all day. Our typical day starts around 5 AM. On a good day, they have all slept through the night. Unfortunately, Josh and Austin tend to wake up at least once a night (although, Josh has been doing a lot better lately). I've been working hard to get the kids on a schedule. Normally I can get the twins down to nap around 8, and Josh around 9. They will usually sleep for 2-3 hours and then want to play for a while. Afternoon naps are around 2-3. Bedtime is usually round 8-8:30. They are pretty good about all getting to sleep by 8:30. Everyday is different though and I usually have at least 1-2 babies awake at a time. By 5 they are all awake. Ty has been a great help. He'll take the babies in the morning. Make sure they are all changed and fed. He leaves for work around 7. Luckily he has been able to come home for lunch. This gives me a chance to shower or take a quick nap. He gets off work around 6 and is a huge help at night playing with the kids and getting them ready for bed. We make a great team, I don't know what I'd do without Ty. Anyway, below are a few pictures from the past couple weeks.

All ready for Church. Getting the kids ready for Church is quite the ordeal. We're lucky to have our friend Alisson here to help us out. I don't think we could do it alone. Our new ward is awesome, they have been so friendly and really helpful.

Mickey Mouse is my hero. The kids love him and he really helps keep them happy while I get bottles ready, change diapers, etc.

Storytime. Ty loves to read to the kids, and they love quality time with Daddy.

These two are the best of buds. Austin thinks Josh is the funniest guy around. Once Josh realized he could get Austin to laugh, he'll put on little "shows" for him.

I seriously turned my head for a second and when I looked back Josh was covered in his food. Silly boy!

Austin has turned into a great napper. He'll take 2-3 naps a day, anywhere from 1-3 hours at a time. He's a happy little guy who LOVES attention!

I LOVE rocking my babies to sleep. They are so precious sleeping. =)

Nursery

We finally have a nursery!!! It's still a work in progress, but I love it. Here are a few pictures, although its even changed since these were taken a couple weeks ago.

Seifa-utaki Shrine, Gyokusendo Cave, Okinawa World and Peace Memorial Park

Yesterday was a very busy day. We spent at least eight hours site seeing, which was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. Surprisingly the babies all did awesome. The weather was a little nicer so I think that helped out a lot. Since my parents are leaving this week (so sad) we had to cram a bunch of things in on Saturday. There are still a few more little field trips we'd like to take if we have the time. Anyway, below are some pictures from our adventures yesterday.

Seifa-utaki Shrine

This shrine is considered the most sacred on Okinawa. It is a collection of cool rock formation. I think there used to be houses set up, but now it is just a cool path through the jungle. Yes, I did see some banana spiders, which are even more disgusting in person!

Gyokusendo Cave

These underground caves were amazing. It took us about 30 minutes to walk through. The twins had to stay up top with Daddy, but Josh was lucky enough to come along. He loved looking around and I think had a good time. We actually saw a couple bats flying around as well, which definitely added to the spooky atmosphere!

Okinawa World

Okinawa World is a cool folk museum. They have fun shops set up and lots of people in costume. They have a fun show where they perform old Japanese dances (unfortunately, you're not allowed to take photos).

Josh had so much fun feeding the fishes!

Peace Memorial Park

An estimated 200,000 people, including more than 100,000 civilians and 12,500 Americans were killed in the battle, which lasted from April to June 1945. The saddest part of the park is the "suicide cliffs", where thousands of people jumped of the cliff instead of being captured by the Americans.
