Welcome Baby Siena!

My brother Rob and sister-in-law Natalie just had a baby (Okay, it was actually awhile ago). Baby Siena was born on July 6th, weighing 5 lbs 11 oz (I may be off a little on the oz's). She is the cutest little thing, her and Josh are only three weeks apart and are going to be super close. I am so happy for Rob and Natalie, they have wanted to start their family for a long time and Siena is a great addition. We love her so much and can't wait to watch her grow up!

Josh is the happiest baby! When he first wakes up in the morning he is all smiles. He has been smiling more and more lately and we were finally able to get some great pictures. Josh also had his two month checkup this past week. He did so well, he is a whopping 11 lbs 10 oz! And is now 22 1/2 in long. He did really well with the shots, cried a little while they administered them, but settled down right after. So far he hasn't had any side effects, so that's a relief. He is doing so well and we couldn't be happier! Below are just a few of my favorite "smile" shots.

Two Months!!

Monday Josh celebrated his two-month birthday! I can't believe how fast the time goes, I know I've said it before, but it really is amazing how quickly the time seems to be going. Josh is doing great, he has his 2 month checkup this week, we're excited to see how much he weighs and make sure everything is going well with him. He still isnt sleeping through the night, some nights are better than others, but its been rough adjusting to this no-sleep routine. He's a really good baby though, loves being held and is just a happy little guy. He has started smiling a lot lately, I have yet to capture it on camera though, that is my goal for this week. Anyway, below are just some fun pictures from the past couple weeks.

Summer Fun

We've had a lot of fun this past week. Earlier in the week we spent the entire day at the beautiful Payson Lake with my family, it was Josh's first camping trip and we had so much fun. I took a ton of pictures and when we got home we realized there was no memory card in the camera! Duh! I'm so sad we missed those pictures. I guess we'll have to go on another day trip and reenact the whole thing. Anyway, Josh also went to his first baseball game this weekend. Ty's whole family went to a Bee's game and we had a blast. I think we tried every kind of treat they had to offer (which I loved). We also brought Josh to Temple Square for the first time, he loved it. I think he really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful flowers and the scenery is just so peaceful. We went to a great concert last night at the Assembly Hall where Ty's older brother Brody (and Brody's family) put on an amazing concert. Josh loved listening to the music and was such a great baby throughout the whole performance.
