January Fun

2011 has been a great year so far. I remember last year at this time Tyler and I were living in San Diego, knowing nothing about our upcoming orders to Japan and of course had no idea that Josh would soon be entering our lives. Josh has definetly been the best thing that has happened to us. He is such a joy to be around and has to be the best baby. Tyler got back into town a couple weeks ago and it was so great to see Josh and Tyler together again. Josh totally recognized Ty and acted so happy to see him. I'm glad Ty will be here for a month and get to spend this time with Joshy. Below are just a few pictures from this past month (in random order). Enjoy!

Pictures from Japan

Ty has sent me a few pictures from Japan that I thought I'd share. I'm not sure where all the pictures are from, most are from Okinawa, but there are a few from his recent trip to Hong Kong and Thailand. I'm glad he's been able to travel a little, I know once we get over there our traveling days are done...or at least on hold for awhile. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! These pictures were actually taken when Josh was five months old (a couple weeks ago). It was so fun finding his little outfit and having the photo shoot. He is such a great baby. These are a few of my favorites, I'll post a few more in a little while. The video at the bottom was taken today, I couldn't wait for Christmas and gave Josh his present today. This was his first time sitting in it, I really think he will love it!

Happy November

I can't believe we're almost through November, this month has flown by. Below are just a few pictures of Josh over the past month. He is such a great baby and if he keeps growing at this pace I'm not sure I'll be able to lift him in a month! =) A month ago he weighed 16 lbs, and now he has got to be 18-19 lbs. I love all the baby fat, he looks so cute!

Five Months

Next Tuesday Josh will be five months old. We really can't believe how fast the time has gone. We went today to get his 5 month/Christmas pictures, he did amazing. We were there for over an hour and he was happy the entire time. We got some great shots. I thought I'd post a sneak peak of one of the pictures, the others are kind of a surprise for Tyler, once he has seen them I will do a fun holiday post with all the cute shots. Josh is such a great baby, he love having him around and his smile always makes my day. He loves playing with his toys now and is figuring out how his little hands work. He sits up well and is doing great eating more solid foods.

Happy Halloween...

I just realized that it's been awhile since I've posted pictures. Josh is now a little over four months old! I can't believe how fast time goes and how fast Josh grows. We went last week to his 4 mo. check-up, he is doing really well. He weighs a whopping 16 lbs 3 ozs. I think the majority of that is all in his cheecks and thighs! He is definetely a good eater and we're so happy he is doing well. He is so much more alert. He even rolled over a couple times, although I think he was as surprised as we were when it happened. He hasn't tried it since, but we're keeping our eyes ready for when he does it again. He is sleeping through the night and takes great naps during the day. Its been nice finally getting him on a schedule and we can tell how much happier he is now that he has a nap/sleep schedule. He is such a doll, we're so happy to have him in our lives!

Josh had his first Halloween party last night (hopefully I can post some more pictures later). He went as a little skeleton, so cute!

More Josh Videos

Below are a couple videos of Josh. I tried to download more, but it takes too long, so maybe I'll get around to downloading a couple more later this week. The first video is of Josh trying baby food for the first time. We gave him some peaches, which he didnt like. When he hits the four month mark (this weekend) we'll probably give him rice cereal. I think he'll like something other than formula. The other video is Josh dancing to the Monster Mash song, he loves Halloween music. Enjoy!

Happy Fall!!

The past couple weeks have flown by. Josh is growing so fast and each day we see new changes. He LOVES talking now, he'll sit and carry on a "conversation" for quite a while. He's a little camera shy though, whenever I get the camcorder out he gets all quiet. I'll need to figure out a way to trick him so I can actually catch his cute jibberish on film. He sure misses his Daddy! Whenever he hears Ty's voice on the phone he gets a BIG smile, its the cutest thing. I think he can recognize his voice and is happy to hear from him. Tyler moved into our new Japanese apartment yesterday, the pictures look nice and I'm sure he'll get it all fixed up nice by time we get there.

We were so happy to meet our newest family member, Josh's cousin Graham was born on Tuesday ( 6 lbs 13 oz, 19 in long). He is the cutest little guy. It's hard to remember Josh ever being that small. We're glad everything went well for Brittney & Jake. Anyway, below are just a few random pictures. Enjoy!
