Another pretty uneventful week has passed. Nothing to exciting to report, although since it was Thanksgiving weekend Tyler was able to have another four day weekend. We love it when he gets extra time at home with us. Speaking of Thanksgiving, we were really sad we weren't able to be with family this year. The past three years we've spent Thanksgiving with our California family (Wayne & Elaine and their family). So, this year we went to a fun buffet with some people from Tyler's office. The food was really good and we had a good time. After the dinner we took the kids to the park. They loved it. We played for almost an hour and they probably would have stayed even longer. Josh especially loved the slides. This Thanksgiving I am so grateful we were able to spend together. Next year Tyler will be in Afghanistan and we'll miss him so much. We're so grateful for all the time we're able to spend together. Anyway, we spent the rest of the weekend trying to get some Christmas shopping done. We were able to squeeze in a quick site seeing visit to this cool Buddist temple (I can't remember the name right now). The ladies there loved the kids, they even tried walking off with Josh! Anyway, it was a fun week.
Austin has figured out how to open drawers (I think he learned it from watching Josh). Sometimes I'll put little surprises in the drawers for the kids to find.
