Happy Thanksgiving

Another pretty uneventful week has passed. Nothing to exciting to report, although since it was Thanksgiving weekend Tyler was able to have another four day weekend. We love it when he gets extra time at home with us. Speaking of Thanksgiving, we were really sad we weren't able to be with family this year. The past three years we've spent Thanksgiving with our California family (Wayne & Elaine and their family). So, this year we went to a fun buffet with some people from Tyler's office. The food was really good and we had a good time. After the dinner we took the kids to the park. They loved it. We played for almost an hour and they probably would have stayed even longer. Josh especially loved the slides. This Thanksgiving I am so grateful we were able to spend together. Next year Tyler will be in Afghanistan and we'll miss him so much. We're so grateful for all the time we're able to spend together. Anyway, we spent the rest of the weekend trying to get some Christmas shopping done. We were able to squeeze in a quick site seeing visit to this cool Buddist temple (I can't remember the name right now). The ladies there loved the kids, they even tried walking off with Josh! Anyway, it was a fun week.

Austin has figured out how to open drawers (I think he learned it from watching Josh). Sometimes I'll put little surprises in the drawers for the kids to find.

This was the Buddist temple.

There is a really cool cave you can explore, but I was too chicken. Didn't want to run into any banana spiders!

These two love playing together!

Weeeeee!

Josh got really good, he could push himself down. And he'd laugh every time, so cute!

Mickey and Minnie

Morning cartoons. Okay, so this only lasted about 30 seconds, but I thought it was cute seeing them all lined up watching Blues Clues.

Another day in paradise

This past week was pretty uneventful. We didn't go anywhere fun over the weekend, we did meet some friends for lunch and did a little Christmas shopping, but otherwise its been a pretty typical week at home. The kids are all doing great. Josh is such a bundle of joy. He is always happy and is always into everything. We call him "Mr. Busy" because he never can sit still. Austin is getting better at standing on walking around the furniture. I think he gets frustrated with himself since he can't walk like Josh yet. He has two cute little teeth that have come in and is just very anxious to grow up. Ashley is a little doll. She can also pull herself up, but isn't quite walking along the furniture yet. She also has a little tooth that has come in, but she won't let you look at it. The kids love playing together, I love when the go off together and you can hear them laughing and having a good time. They really are so much fun!

Pineapple Park, Hedo Point and White Beach Festival

I love it when Ty has four-day weekends, we're able to spend so much time together and go on fun field trips. Thursday we went to a fun lunch at Macaroni Grill and did a little Christmas shopping. Friday we went to Pineapple Park and Hedo Point. Pineapple Park is a fun place, you take a little golf-cart ride around a little pineapple park, they have tons of different kinds of pineapples. Then there is a fun shopping area and free pineapple. The kids loved it, especially the ride. After that we drove up to Hedo Point, which is breathtaking...literally. Some parts were very windy and took your breath away. Josh loved the windy parts! Saturday we went to the White Beach Festival. It was kind of like a military air show back in the States. It was a lot of fun.

I love it when we can all be in the picture!

The twins love being able to pull themselves up now.
