Our trip to Japan was quite the adventure. I have been worried about the logistics for a very long time, in the end everything turned out a lot better than I thought. We had five big suitcases, seven carry-on bags, two strollers, two grandparents, three babies, two parents and of course Charlie. People stared at us everywhere we went! Our first flight to San Francisco went really well, it was a smaller plane and we were all able to sit by each other. Somehow Grandpa lucked out and had a row all to himself! We had to be at the airport by 4:30 AM, so we were all a little tired and the kids just slept on the flight. We arrived in San Fran and had about a four hour layover. The kids were all great. Josh LOVED watching all the planes coming and going and liked walking around the airport watching people. The flight from San Fran to Toyko was about 10 hours, two hours than I originally thought it would be. It was such a nice surprise to find out it would be a couple hours shorter. By the end of the flight the kids were pretty worn out. Somehow Grandpa ended up by himself again, not sure how he worked that out! The flight went well, my mom and I sat with the twins and Ty was with Josh. Josh was amazing, he pretty much slept the whole time. He'd wake up for a little bit and we'd take turns playing with him and then he'd crash some more. The twins were pretty good as well. Ashley slept for the first 4.5 hours and then was up for a little while and then slept some more. Austin was up for quite awhile, but once he crashed he was out for about 4-5 hours.

May 2011
This past month has been a little crazy. Besides turning 31 earlier this month, I have also been raising three babies, packing for Japan and eagerly waiting for Tyler to come home. About a week ago Ty finally got into town. It has been so nice having him here. We've moved back up to his parents house for the last week, its been fun for them to spend some time with the kids before we head to Japan. Speaking of Japan, we'll be moving there Monday! I can't believe it is finally time for us to head over. We've gotten all the passports done, Charlie's paperwork done and loads of other paperwork and airline arrangements done. I'm excited to get to Japan, but I admit I'm a little nervous about traveling 30 hours with three babies and a puppy. At least Ty will be there as well as my parents. Anyway, yesterday we also helped celebrate the marriage of Ty's little sister Brooke! We're so happy for Brooke and her new husband Skyler. I'm so happy we were able to stay in town for the wedding. Below are some random pictures from the past month.
Needless to say, the kids were a little grumpy.

We had some Easter pictures taken a few days ago. Our wonderful photographer posted a few on her blog (www.jennyturkphotography.blogspot.com) and I couldn't resist posting them on our blog. We'll be getting the rest of the pictures later, but I can't imagine them being any cuter than the ones below. I am so overwhelemed that these three babies are mine, they are perfect!

Josh In A Box
I was getting Tyler's Easter package together when Josh decided to jump in the box. I think he wanted to get shipped over to see his daddy. He had so much fun playing in the box, makes me wonder why I buy toys? =)
