Countdown

Tyler has been gone a month and will coming home for a visit in just a few days. We can't wait to have him back. I'm so excited to see the kids reaction when they see him again, I'm sure they will not let him out of their sight for the duration of his visit. This week has been an Austin week. He finally started walking! It's day three and he walks all over. He can stand up on his own and his balance is getting better and better. He could not be more proud of himself, he laughs and gets so excited. Last night when he was practicing we started clapping and Josh ran over and started clapping as well. You can see he is also proud of his little brother. Austin is pretty tall, almost as tall as Josh. Now that he can stand, the first thing he did was go over to the doors and start opening them. I admit, when I saw all three walking around I had a little panic attack. They really can and do go off in all directions. Although, most of the time they all like to play together and tend to follow one another around. Josh is a little ham-head. Last night about an hour after he had gone to bed I heard a weird clapping/slapping sound coming from his room. Although he wasn't crying or anything I decided I better check and see what he was up to. I guess he didn't like his PJs because I found him sitting in his diaper and he's slapping his belly. In the dark. PJs now on the floor. He had a big grin on his face. Ashley is such a busy little girl. She knows what she wants and will do what she has to to get it. My cousin gave me these four cute teddy bears at a baby shower. They are each different colors and Ash only wants the white bear. I'll hand her the black bear, she'll look at it and then chuck it to the floor. She'll do the same with each bear until you give her the proper one. She has her little heart set on the white bear. It's so cute. These kids are such a joy, each day they do so many things to make me laugh. We sure love them a lot and are so blessed to have them in our family.

Josh loves getting his picture taken. Most of the time he will barely stand for a second before he is running over to see how the picture turned out. I should post some of those pics, he loves doing it over and over.

Ashley loves her princess chair. She will not let anyone else sit in it.

You'll notice Ashley has the white bear. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the chairs. The kids love them.

This was yesterday. Austin was so excited when he figured out how to stand up all on his own. He'd stand up, then sit down. Over and over. He loved it.

Misc Pics

Ty has been gone for two weeks now. It's been hard having him away with limited communication. I know the kids especially are missing their daddy. Whenever I ask where daddy is they all run over to the wall where our family picture is and beg to be picked up so they can see him. As soon as they see his picture they smile and reach out to touch him. It's really sweet. I know they will be so excited when he comes home, they probably won't let him out of their sights. Below are just a few pictures from this past week.
