Summer Fun

Tyler is finally home!! Our time in Japan is done, it's a little hard to believe that we won't be going back. At least not anytime soon. The kids have been so happy to have their dad back, especially Ashley. She has been a little obsessive and has not wanted to let her dad out of her sight, even when she goes to bed at night. Each day that goes by she is getting a little better and he can now leave the room without her melting down. It has also been nice having the extra help, its been so awesome. We're so happy to finally be back together as a family. We've had fun getting out everyday and are looking forward to checking out all the fun things in Utah during the next six weeks. At the end of August we will be heading to Rhode Island. It will be hard to leave, but I'm looking forward to getting all settled in before the baby comes. Below are just a few pictures from this week.
Reading time with grandpa.

Enjoying a little Arby's, their favorite place.

Grandpa got the kids a little pool. They love it!

Sometimes it gets a little crazy around her and Charlie has to hide. I found him behind the chair, he'll look under every once in a while to see of the coast is clear. Poor dog doesn't have any peace.

The kids love our daily walks.

Our attempt at getting all three to sit for a picture.

Our Newest Stud Muffin

We found out yesterday that we'll be having another baby boy join our family. Seeing him on the ultrasound and hearing his little heartbeat really made it seem more real. It's helped that I've been able to feel him move around and I swear he kicked me whenever I said he might be a girl. I guess he wanted to make sure I knew he was a boy. I really can't wait to meet him and the kids are all getting excited as well. Now that we know that he is a boy, we can finally start thinking of names. It was easy naming the first three, but I'm a little stuck on what to name this little guy. He is due November 1, and my dad was kidding that we should have him on Halloween and name him Casper. I think we'll keep our options open. I also need to come up with a new title for our blog, since soon we will no longer be a party of five.

Josh's Third Birthday

I can't believe Josh turned three years old today. Where has the time gone? This year Tyler had to be in Japan, but we're planning on doing another party for when he gets back in a few weeks. Josh had a great day, he had fun opening his presents and eating his cake. He really loved his cake! Anyway, here are just a few pictures.

Splash Park

On our way to Hill (Air Force Base) we saw they had a fun park/splash park and thought the kids would enjoy it. Luckily we had some extra clothes in the car so they were able to play and have fun. Ashley had a blast and we couldn't keep her out of the water, even when she was shivering and sopping wet. Josh had fun going back and forth between the park and the water, but eventually settled on the water. And little Austin, he also had fun, but was careful not to get wet. Silly boy.

Little Austin wanted to play with the water, but didn't want to get wet.
