Holiday Weekend

We love holiday weekends around here. It is so nice to have Tyler home for a couple extra days and we really try to make the best of them. The kids love getting out of the house more. We took the kids to the park every day and even made it to the beach yesterday.

The kids love brushing their teeth every night before bed.

The kids love it when we take them grocery shopping. I wonder why? Josh gets his own cart to push around and the twins get to drive their own car. Why didn't they have this stuff when I was a kid?

Typhoon Fun

The past two months we've had five typhoons. It has been crazy! Yesterday's was pretty bad, I saw one video where a car was literally blown across the parking lot. I'll have to see if I post it. Anyway, it's hard being confined to our apartment for the typhoons that seem to always hit on the weekend. We try and have fun and keep the kids happy. Luckily, this one hit during the day so we didn't have to worry about the kids being up all night.

The kids love typhoons because we have to bring in the patio furniture and they think its so fun to climb all over the chairs. When the winds aren't as strong we'll take them out on the patio. They love getting blown around. Hey, whatever keeps them happy!

We had our power out for about 19 hours. I was running out of things to do with them and finally remembered I had some Mickey Mouse on my iPad. We set up a fun little viewing party for them.

Once the twins saw Josh put his chair up they had to follow suit. They do whatever Joshy does.

Attempted Photo Shoot

We were at the beach the other day and thought we'd try and have a photoshoot. The kids had other ideas. Josh was the only one who kind of cooperated, but the twins would have none of it. Especially Ashley. Oh well, at least we had fun.

August Fun

So, I have finally been able to snag a couple minutes to do a post. Below are a few pictures that were taken over the weekend and today. I can't believe how fast these little ones are growing up! Josh is over two now, and in the big-kid nursery at church. He has a lot of fun playing with the other kids. Josh loves to read, climb and play all the time. Ashley is so curious about everything, she loves to sit and examine how each toy works, but her favorite toy is her little pink piggy. Austin also has a favortie toy...a blue comb. For some reason he has latched onto this comb and wont let it go. It's been about a month, and he does everything with it. Including sleeping, eating and taking his bath.

Josh has figured out how to climb up on the coffee table. He loves getting up there!

Austin has figured out how to use the coffee table to hoist himself onto the couch. He is very resourceful when he wants to be.

I'm so sad this one turned out blurry, it would have been the perfect picture of the twins.

Silly Ashely, I catch her with her feet out all the time. I think this time she was trying to get all four of her limbs out.

Who would have thought putting a matress on the ground would be so much fun. The kids played on it for an hour straight. Why didn't I think of this sooner?
