Missing Dad

Tyler left for a three month deployment last Thursday. Although he's only been gone a fwe days it already feels much longer. The kids and I really miss him and I know they are wondering why Daddy is. Luckily, my parents came over to help us out. The kids have loved having them here and all the extra attention they are getting. Ty has requested lots of pictures, so I'll probably be doing a lot of posts the next few months. (For some reason my laptop is not rotating the pictures, like my desktop does. For future posts I'll fix them, but the babies are crying and I can't yet.)

Here are just a few more pictures from when Barry was here. It was sure nice having him come for a visit. It made us a little homesick!

Fun at Home

Here are just a few fun pictures that were taken around the house. We just can't get enough of the kids. Once they are all down to bed, we tend to pull out the camera and look at pictures of them. They are so cute and are growing up way too quickly!

Ashley loves her little Dolly, she snuggles with it and can't sleep without her.

We tried to do a group shot before church, but they lasted about 1 sec before they all went in their own direction.

We finally got a piano! We're so excited and so are the kids. They love music time and singing primary songs.

Ashley loves bouncy balls, she thinks all of them are hers and doesn't always like to share with her brothers. ;)

Josh was climbing and fell out of our recliner. He tried bracing himself and ended up with a buckly fracture. He is such a trooper we didn't really even know anything was wrong. He didn't act like his arm was hurting, but we noticed the next day that he wouldn't put any weight on his arm so we took him in for x-rays just to be sure. They couldn't find a break, but they said the bone had bowed out a little. So, our tough guy is going to be in a cast for about four weeks. No worries, it hasn't slowed him down AT ALL.

He has just recently started climbing and he loves pulling himself up on our extra couch to look out the window. With his cast he hasn't been able to pull himself up anymore.

I guess all those treats were too much of a temptation and he had to get at 'em.
