Today Tyler and I went to Legoland. We had a couple extra tickets from when my family was in town and thought it'd be a great day to go. Tyler had never been before and he was blown away with all the cool lego stuff. The rides are obviously meant for a younger crowd, but we still enjoyed looking at all the cool lego models and of course all the yummy treats (especially the apple fries!).

Take Me Out To A Ball Game
Monday Missions
Since Tyler has this week off we decided we would do a little site seeing around San Diego. On Monday we visited a couple of the old Catholic missions up in Oceanside. They both were super pretty, and we had a great time. After the missions we went to the Oceanside Pier for a yummy lunch at Ruby's diner!

Hoover Dam
On our drive home we swung by the Hoover Dam. I had never been there before and it was so cool. It was also really crowed and extremly hot. Since we didn't have a lot of time we weren't able to go on any tours or vist the gift shop (we couldn't leave Charlie in the hot car). So we just drove around and then got out and walked along to get some pictures. It was too hot for Charlie to even walk on the ground so I ended up having to carry him around. It was still worth it though and hopefully next time we'll be able to spend a little more time there.
Park City
We spent our last day in Utah up in Park City. I just love that place, its so pretty! We grabbed a yummy lunch at the Eating Establishment and then did a little window shopping. After that we went to the Apline Slide. I've never done that before so it was a lot of fun for me. There was also a farmers market going on so we had fun walking through there looking at all the fun shops.

We had so much fun in Utah. Time went by too fast and we weren't able to see everyone that we had planned, but it was nice spending so much time with family. I look forward to going back again when my parents get home from their mission.

Canyons
Last Saturday we went with my family to American Fork canyon. Mark and Doug disappeared to go dirt biking so I dont have any photos of them. The rest of us enjoyed hanging out, going for walks and having a yummy dinner. Natalie and Nicole prepared a fantastic dutch oven meal and dessert, definetly something we need to do more often.
